Inspector Knacker of Scotland Yard has fingered the collar of an 18 year old lad it thinks does the PR of the hacking crew LulzSec
The Metropolitan Police’s Central e-Crime Unit arrested an 18-year-old at an address in Scotland’s Shetland Islands. His name wasn’t released, but police believe him to be “Topiary”. They reckon he’s acting as a spokesman, or in other words, PR.
We guess he would have given himself away by using the words “paradigm” and “game changing” in his school essays about what he did during the holidays.
According to AP, Topiary was linked to LulzSec and Anonymous, and was the on-again, off-again media liaison.
He would not have been difficult to find. He even did a telly interview on the David Pakman Show earlier this year, where he feuded with Shirley Phelps-Roper of the Westboro Baptist Church.
While he was talking, Anonymous vandalised the church’s website live.
Topiary admitted to AP that he controlled LulzSec’s Twitter feed.
Topiary’s Twitter feed was wiped and the only remaining post reads “You cannot arrest an idea”.
