Vodafone tweets homosexual slander

Vodafone has issued an apology after a tweet that was sent out to its 8,643 Twitter followers reading: “is sick of dirty homo’s [sic] and is going after beaver.”

The mobile operator then sent out an apology to its followers saying : “We’re really sorry. A severe breach of rules by staff in our building, dealing with that internally. Please keep your faith in us.”

The message at about four o’clock Friday afternoon has already attracted a lot of interest from Twitter users. It has met with mixed thoughts as some praised Vodafone for admitting that it was an internal rogue tweeter and commenting that it sounded like they were having a party in the Vodafone offices, to anger.

Vodafone could not comment at the time of writing.
