South Aussie government family care staffers sacked for porn stash

In a country which is notorious for censorship and a general intolerance to women with small breasts, you would think Australia’s government would keep a tighter ship on the onanism habits of its staff.

But Australia’s Department of Families and Communities has found eleven staff guilty of stuffing their work laptops full of pornography.

Not only that, it’s alleged that the Families and Communities Minister, Jenifer Rankine, kept a lid on the findings possibly for political reasons. 9News reports opposition Isobel Redmond as having said: “The minister has apparently kept this udner wraps for what could be a matter of months.”

The belief is the whole matter was kept quiet because of South Astralia’s Families and Communities department works with such close proximity to vulnerable persons.

It’s an embarrassing disclosure for the prudish government to make. Since finding the porn stashes earlier this year – although details of when are not available – one member of staff was axed. Another had their pay slashed, and a further nine faced a disciplinary hearing.

Rather than harassing travellers at its airports for pornography, perhaps Australia should look at its own servers first.
