Google fixes Chrome security flaws

It’s not just Microsoft and Mozilla that have to patch security bugs in their browsers – Google announced yesterday that it had fixed problems with its Chrome software.

Some of the bugs are described as high risk, while others fall into the medium and low risk range.

ChromeAs well as the security fixes, Google has also included a number of additional features including bookmark sync, better developer tools, Skia performance improvements, full ACID3 pass, HTML 5 additions including Local Storage, Ruby support and WebSockets.

Chrome has also made v8 performance improvements and includes a security feature called “Strict Transport Security”. There’s more information on this Google Chrome bog page.
