PlayStation network down in Trophy sync SNAFU

A glitch in the PlayStation network caused players of its trophy games to discover they weren’t players of its trophy games anymore.

There’s a bug in the network that screwed up the trophy sync process so that even if you were offline you still weren’t able to play some games.

But the bug doesn’t affect everyone with PlayStations – only the models before everything glot slimmer.

A message tweeted on the SonyPlaystation channel said followers confirmed that 120/250GB models of the PlayStation 3 are connecting normally.

Sony is “narrowing down the issue and continue to work to restore service to all”, was the last bit of Twittery news.

The company is hoping to have a fix up and running by the time Americans log in to start playing their trophy sync games first thing this morning, US time.
