Hong Kong’s HIS has launched a line of its 6770 IceQ X graphics cards.
As is usual with popular enthusiast brands, HIS is keen to highlight the integrated cooling technology. It’s called IceQ and has a 9.2cm “silent” fan to keep the overclocking options from heating up too much.
HIS claims the 6770 IceQ X Turbo has pre-overclocked speeds of 880MHz and memory clocks of 5,000 MHz, which isn’t bad. Dropping the Turbo, the 6770 IceQ X can manage, says HIS, pre-overclocked core speeds of 850MHz and memory speeds of 4,800MHz.
Features HIS wants you to get excited about include AMD’s Eyefinity and App Acceleration, and of course, Direct X 11. The memory type for both flavours is GDDR5, with a 128 bit memory interface. It’s PCI Express x16.
There are two heat pipes to keep the product cool. HIS claims the cards are cooler than reference cards and are a “lot more silent” as a result. What?
Here’s the Turbo. It’s $131, VAT not included.
