The small form motherboard, dubbed GA-E350N-USB3, is Gigabyte’s first Mini-ITX to support AMD Fusion, but it will also support a number of other features, including DirectX11, USB 3.0, SATA 6Gb/s and a HDMI interface.
Other features include an On/Off Charge for quick charging of devices like smartphones and tablets, 3x USB Power Boost and an onboard Renesas NEC controller for USB 3.0. When coupled with an AMD processor and graphics card it supports Blu-ray and high-definition 7.1 surround sound.
The motherboard also boasts superior build quality that makes use of Gigabyte’s Ultra Durable 3 Classic design. With double the amount of copper used in traditional motherboards it can provide better power efficiency and lower operating temperatures, ensuring it has a long life.
It also features extra-durable solid Japanese capacitors and DualBIOS technology, which offers a backup BIOS chip in case the first one becomes damaged.
With AMD promising all-day battery life with its Fusion chips many people may be flocking to buy motherboards that support the technology.
