Dell service desk nicked my porn

A woman who allowed a Dell service bloke to snuffle around her computer looking for those racy snaps she wanted to send her bloke was shocked when they mysteriously appeared on a porn site.

According to the Examiner when Tara Fitzgerald [no, really] could not locate the photos of herself she thought she’d saved on her desktop to send to her boyfriend she became a little worried that her 15 year old daughter might have found them.

She did what anyone would have done, she called Dell technical support and allowed the bloke to have a look around the computer to see if he could find the snaps.

The Dell support contractor was based in Mumbai, India and became chatty with her. She found out his name, Riyaz Shaikh.

Fitzgerald said that she trusted Shaikh because he was “a Dell technician and I don’t like the cyberworld, you’re so vulnerable.”

Shaikh found the pictures but a while later Tara learned 16 nude photos had been placed on the internet on a vulgar website called “bitchtara” that was created solely for the purpose of displaying her pictures. We are not sure how she found out about this.

She rang Skaikh who convinced her it was her boyfriend who was responsible for the website and offered to help Tara remove the offensive website and somehow convinced her to ship him a brand new Dell laptop so he could work on her case from his home in Mumbai.

Apparently she did this.

However when he fell in love with a Tennessee woman he shipped her an $800 Dell computer and gear to her home in Waynesboro and billed it to Tara’s Dell credit card.

All this happened a year ago but Fitzgerald said she has had no luck getting Dell to do anything about it.

Dell said this week that it can confirm that the tech help rep no longer handles Dell calls. She said she is getting legal help to sue Dell because there is no better cure for gross stupidity than suing a bit company.
