David Beckham felt up by Hewlett Packard

Hewlett Packard (HP) said that it is going to be the lead player in computerising Spencer Hart, a high class tailor based in snobby Savile Row.

HP will provide server, storage and networking to the tailor – its client list includes soccer player David Beckham, Robbie Williams and James Corden.

That’s as part of a push by Spencer Hart in a snazzy new flagship store in London, and concessions at firms such as Libertys and Selfridges.

A visit to the Spencer Hart website shows that it is under construction while HP takes its inside leg measurements.

HP said that Spencer Hart had a “rigid, outdated infrastructure” and needed ProLiant DL380 G7 servers, E2510 network switches, and an Ultrium 920 SAS tape drive.
