AMD rolls out fresh Catalyst drivers

AMD said it has released  ATI Catalyst drivers that it claims will give higher performance and some new features. It will release a further Catalyst driver update in March.

Version 10.2, it claims, gives better game performance and for ATI CrossFireX better panoramic gaming with Eyefinity multidisplay technology.

Version 10.3, to be released in March, will include stability performance and feature improvements. Eyefinity will include a wizard to adjust displays to better fit monitors – and adjust brightness, colour and contrast.

AMD will bring the ability for third party software firms to provide 3D stereoscope gaming options by allowing for independent left and right images at 120Hz.
