Biggish Blue and 3M have announced that they will jointly develop a new line of glues they hope will let them make it possible to stack up to 100 chips on top of each other. -

Intel introduces new mobile processors
Two Core i5 mobile chips for notebooks have been added to the mix: the i5-580M and the i5-560M. The former is a 2.66GHz processor with a 3M L2 cache, two cores and four threads, with a price tag of $266. The latter has the exact same spec, but is retailing at the slightly cheaper price of $225. -

AcquisitionMultinational conglomerate 3M has offered to buy security firm Cogent Systems for $943 million. -
3M working on glasses-free 3D technology for handhelds
3M, maker of electronics, says that it will show off glasses-free 3D film for handhelds during this month's SID conference on the 24th-28th May. -
