Two more senior suits leap from AMD ship

Marty Seyer and Robert Rivet are to join former CEO Dirk Meyer by not working for chip company AMD any more.

Rivet was the head honcho in charge of admin and operations, while Seyer was in charge of strategy.

AMD is not yet ready to say how far it’s got with replacing Dirk Meyer but now is faced with another challenge – to replace these two people too.

The outside impression of the organisation is that it’s somewhat chaotic in terms of leadership at the moment.

Rivet had been at AMD for 10 years, Seyer for eight years.
