Zuckerberg reads Obama the riot act

The founder and CEO of DeFacebook, Mark Zuckerberg, got on the blower to US president Obama yesterday to whisper some not so sweet somethings in his earlug.

According to Zuckerberg’s own bog, his company spends gazillions making Facebook secure and doesn’t expect the US government to snoop on its users.

He said: “I’ve called President Obama to express my frustration over the damage the government is creating for all of our future. Unfortunately, it seems like it will take a very long time for true full reform.”

Zuckerberg didn’t say what Obama said back to him after the phone call yesterday. But he added that the US government should champion the internet and not consider it to be a threat.

”They need to be much more transparent about what they’re doing, or otherwise people will believe the worst,” he said.
