Hurd brought down by soft porn star

The woman at the centre of the sexual harassment claim which forced the resignation of the Hewlett-Packard CEO, is a former softcore porn actress turned marketing person.

Jodie Fisher, 50, said she got to know Mark Hurd when she was doing contract work with HP’s marketing department from 2007 to 2009.

It was apparently better work than her previous job on a reality TV show called Age of Love in which women competed for the attention of tennis star Mark Philippoussis.

In that show the women were split into two groups: kittens, aged in their 20s and cougars, aged in their 40s. Fisher was one of the cougars.

Before she got that role, she worked as a soft porn star in several different movies, according to AP.

Fisher repeated that she and Hurd never had a sexual relationship but neither she nor her lawyer would discuss details of the harassment claim. She said she was surprised and saddened when Hurd lost his job over the case.

It appears that what might have happened was that the matter lead to the discovery that Hurd had been fiddling his expenses claims to cover dinners he had been having with Fisher. HP also claimed Hurd arranged for her to be paid for work she didn’t do.

Fisher told AP that she and Hurd have settled the matter and money had changed hands. However no one is saying how much.

Hurd, 53, insists they were legitimate business expenses. Hurd says the errors in the reports may have been entered unwittingly by an assistant, according to the person close to the case.

Her IMDB page, which credits her as Marcie Ridlin in “Silk Stalkings” and Leza Watkins in the classic “Body of Influence 2,” is here.
