Bill Gates wants to adopt Indian village

Software King of the World Sir William Gates III has offered to adopt an entire village of untouchables  in India

The Microsoft supremo will personally adopt a village in Bihar while he is visiting the state this week.

The big idea is to adopt Gularia village to help improve socio-economic conditions and provide basic amenities, such as running water, electricity, schools and health centres.

Now being reinvented as a philanthropist the convicted monopolist is currently in India accompanied by the officials of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

We are pleased to note that basic amenities do not include an operating system, nor indeed any mention of a computer at all.

The village is comprised of dalits, low caste people.

Gates is also scheduled to meet Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in the state capital here to discuss development issues and changes taking place for the poor.
