Cupertino firm Apple was fined 900,000 euro today for misinforming customers in the country.
The Italian antitrust authority had received complaints from a number of consumer groups.
The antitrust regulators landed Apple with one fine of 400,000 euro for failing to give its customers the right kind of information about how long products were guaranteed.
And Apple was belted with an additional fine of half a million euro because it didn’t give enough information about its Applecare plan.
Apple is expected to, er, appeal.
