Tony Dennis has worked as a freelance writer and communications consultant for over 25 years. He's specialised in the convergence between and IT and telecommunications - particularly in the wireless arena. Tony has wide experience of online news services including The Inquirer – where he was Mobile/PDA editor.
He's also worked on other online titles such as GoMo News, Total Telecom and The Register.
Additionally, he is managing editor of Mobile Insight - an online weekly newsletter. In the news field Tony worked on the Show Daily at ITU Telecom World 2003 in Geneva. His articles have appeared in print both the specialist IT and Telecommunications Press including leading titles such as Computing, Computer Weekly, IT Week, Mobile Europe, Mobile and Mobile Comms International.
In terms of national titles, Tony has contributed to many IT and Telecoms supplements that have featured in British newspapers such as The Times, The Guardian, and the Daily Telegraph. For the IT channel title, Microscope, he acted as communications consultant for eight years. Before working freelance, Tony was Deputy Editor with Computer Answers magazine at VNU.
